    Fibrillated polypropylene fiber

    Physical properties:

    Fiber shape: sheet-like mesh-shaped wire                                                          Density: 0.91g/cm3

Water absorption: none                                                                                       Melting point: 165-175℃

    Breaking strength: ≥ 350MPa                                                                              Flash point: 590℃

    Breaking elongation: 15%-20%                                                                            Fiber specifications: 10, 15, 19mm

Elastic modulus: ≥ 3500MPa                                                                                Acid and alkali resistance: strong

    Dispersibility: good                                                                                               Safety: non-toxic material

How to use fibrillated polypropylene fiber:

    1. Addition ratio: The addition amount of fibrillated polypropylene fiber per cubic meter of concrete and mortar is generally 0.1% by volume and 0.9kg by weight. The larger the addition amount, the better the anti-cracking effect, but the addition amount generally does not exceed 0.15%.

    2. Fiber length: The recommended length of fibrillated polypropylene fiber for concrete is 19mm, and the length for cement mortar is 10-15mm. Generally, when the fiber length is less than 20mm, the longer the fiber length, the better the plastic crack resistance effect, and the longer the fiber, the better the bending toughness of the concrete produced.

    3. Mixing process: It can be added to the mixer before, after or at the same time as other mixed materials.

    4. Mixing time: Under normal circumstances, the mixing time remains unchanged or is slightly extended by 3-4 minutes compared to the normal mixing time. Extended mixing will not affect the distribution and fiber strength of the fibers, nor will it cause agglomeration.

    5. Mixer selection: A double-shaft horizontal forced mixer is preferred, and a self-falling drum mixer or a paddle mixer can also be used.
