    6mm polypropylene fiber is an engineering fiber commonly used in construction materials. Primarily serving as an auxiliary agent for crack resistance, impermeability, and toughness enhancement, it is widely incorporated into concrete and mortar mixtures.


    Key Applications:


    1.Inhibiting Early-Stage Cracking in Concrete/Mortar:** Effectively controls micro-cracks caused by plastic shrinkage, drying shrinkage, and temperature fluctuations, thereby enhancing structural durability.


    2.Improving Impermeability and Freeze-Thaw Resistance:** Through a three-dimensional, random distribution, it blocks capillary channels and increases material compactness, thereby boosting impermeability and resistance to freeze-thaw cycles.


    3.Enhancing Impact Resistance and Abrasion Resistance:** Suitable for high-wear areas such as roads, bridge decks, and industrial flooring.


    Applicable to Various Engineering Scenarios:

    Basement floor slabs, side walls, and roof slabs;

    Roofing, water tanks/pools, and wall plastering;

    Bridges, port terminals, and airport runways;

    Dry-mix mortar, thermal insulation mortar, crack-resistant putty, etc.


    Recommended Dosage (Reference):

    General Concrete: 0.9–1.8 kg/m³

    Mortar: 0.9–1.2 kg/m³

    Crack-Resistant Putty: 0.5–1.0 kg/ton

    The 6mm variety is classified as a chopped fiber; it is suitable for plaster layers, surface finishes, and general structural concrete. For mass concrete or areas with stringent crack-resistance requirements, it is often **mixed in combination** with 12mm or 19mm fibers to optimize performance.
