Applications of 2mm Polypropylene Fiber

2mm polypropylene fiber is a commonly used crack-resistant material in construction engineering. By incorporating it into concrete or mortar, it effectively controls plastic shrinkage and drying shrinkage cracks, improving the integrity and impermeability of the structure.

Plastering and Putty Applications: 2mm fiber is suitable for plastering mortar, putty, and leveling layers, enhancing the coating's adhesion strength, impact resistance, and abrasion resistance, while reducing surface cracking.

Industrial Flooring and Precast Components: In industrial floors, warehouse floors, and precast concrete components (such as pipes and trench covers), 2mm fiber improves the material's toughness, resisting mechanical wear and impact. Its typical performance parameters include: density approximately 0.91 g/cm³, tensile strength ≥400 MPa, melting point approximately 160–170℃, and excellent acid and alkali resistance and chemical stability.
